I plan to visit this week and I will write a detailed review. My general observation about "community gardens" in Stockton is that they use the label as a marketing ploy. While the advertise accessibility and desire to serve a community they are more like places trying to exclude than to include. For example, the Ted Robb and Chris Robb Community Garden has nothing communal about it; a highly regulated and fenced place designed to keep people out. I finally visited the place and the produce is of excellent quality and absolute freshness. Good job!

Mrs. Tonya is the person that runs it and when I tell you she treats everyone like family and truly cares for her community, mean it. This place feeds the community and has wonderful educational, therapeutic and inviting environment. Her staff is helpful and will help answer any question you have on how to start your own garden. She even has plots there so you can grow your own food, flowers etc. if you have not and are able to, please visit and learn more
